Yes. It does, and it was the first time since 1999 that we were wrong on numbers 1 and 2. I don't think we've been wrong on numbers 3 and 4 since the 80s. Damn. That's a hell of a long time.

yeah...like I said...The moral victory stat. Points on the board is all that matters. Unless the NCAA starts scoring games based on yardage....then this argument is finished.

Lmao how do you have room to talk when that same defense beat your rebels team that was supposed to be one of the best they ever fielded!?

you see when your team has a qb competition the spring game is the best chance the fans get to see the qbs go head to head on a level playing field during the off season.
Spring football games typically, and almost always, throw out a vanilla offense vs a vanilla defense. Most teams don't blitz in spring games and most don't even have the quarterbacks live.

Yet to be seen, but for LSU's sake, I would hope they found a way to improve.

no, it doesn't.

I mean...we can go through all of this again if you still don't understand....but NCAA scores games based on points put on the board. That fact cannot be argued against. Which makes the most important defensive statistic the one regarding most many points the defense gives up.

You can argue until you're purple in the face.....but that doesn't make it correct. Congrats on coming in 1st in a useless defensive stat and a close 2nd in the one that matters. Not sure why you guys aren't proud of coming in 2nd in defense last year. That's still a damned good thing to brag about.

wut? lol

Pretty sure we're talking about a season-long stat. But if you're actually bragging about how you did against Ole Miss to an MSU fan....then my bad.

Congrats. LSU is the Magnolia Bowl Defensive Champ.

Ole Miss is the defensive champ if we're discussing the entire season.

While I don't put much stake into spring game results, expect to see an improvement in the passing game. Which won't take much

Can you please quote where in that article it states that the NCAA awards victories based on yardage and not points?

TIA

State is going to have one of the best offenses in the SEC again

how man Olinemen did you lose? I thought it was was like 3-4. And Robinson is gone as well.

Dak will improve but as a whole i think the offense takes a step back, as does the defense.

Last year had more returning starters than anyone in the SEC. this year you have the fewest. Gonna be a rough year regardless of how good Dak is.

Our d gave up fewer points than you give us credit for, our offense just couldn't keep up. That is not their fault
