Post Miles' head to head record vs. Saban. I'll wait.

1-0 for Miles in Game of the Century...much bigger than just an NC.

Browns are on an upswing. Good defense, plus they fleeced tho colts trading Trent for a first rounder.

Wish the Saints could do the same with Ingram

If we played again, do you really think it would be any different?

Still, all of those players were the best of their college teams. College athletes just can't compete with professional athletes.

The secondary would be good though

Dre Kirkpatrick
Tyrann mathieu
Mark Barron
Brandon Taylor
Morris Claiborne

Aren't the Browns about to fire their HC after just one season? That can't be good for anything.

Jarret Lee should have never been stripped of his starting QB position. Lee struggled during 9-6 and Miles panicked and yanked him. McCarron was having a bad game too, but it was just 2 great defenses.

Lee's problem, in addition to throwing 2 pics, was getting that deer-in-the-headlights look. In hindsight though Miles should have kept him as starter, I think.

AJ got much better

No doubt.

Me too. Hard for Mark to do anything getting 3 carries a game. It's just a bad fit. Wish the Titans and Saints would make a trade. Send Chris Johnson to New Orleans and Bring Mark to Nashville. I'd be down with that.

My sister-in-law told me Payton is having a press conference tomorrow. Can't verify that but if so...Sean -> UT?

Oh hell, wouldn't that be something. I'm trying to figure out why in the world Sean would have a special conference Monday (assuming this is true). I know college HC's have to be named for recruiting purposes but outside of that, why-oh-why.

As the World Turns

Fleur, believe me you are not the only one and certainly taking nothing away from Saban or the Tide that night but if you can tell me that Miles had his head in that game then I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell to you.

Weirdest game I've ever attended.

We didn't want to be there against them.

OSU also should have lost to Stanford in the bowl game anyway. Stanford outplayed them for most of the game, but it was coaching mistakes at the end of the game and in overtime that cost the Cardinals the Fiesta Bowl.

Damn. Why didn't they get a rematch?

at some point during the 2nd half, i could've sworn that LSU's OL was taking a dive....OK, maybe "taking a dive" is too strong a phrase, but it seemed like they were half-assing it to make some sort of statement about the decision to stick with jefferson. looking at all the bickering on the sidelines, it seemed like les miles completely lost his team....

Despite all that, our defense showed up.

Props to them
