It also seems very unfair that LSU had to play an extra game against Georgia in the SECCG, which theoretically could have knocked them out of the NCG should they have slipped up, while Alabama, simply because they LOST to LSU, got to take the week off and didn't have to risk anything.

If LSU lost to Georgia, the likelyhood of LSU playing Oklahoma St in the title game was better

If Auburn played Bama tomorrow, then Im not sure Auburn would even cross the 50 yard line once. Its hard to beat a good team twice. Especially when Jefferson is your QB.

You got us so good, it's personal now. It wasn't before, but it is now. You can say what you want about our culture, our traditions, our Heisman winner (which do you have a recent one?), our campus, our stadium, lack of women, our 8-4 record, etc.

But by god don't you dare say anything about our OOC schedule. That cuts right to the bone

That's all just too bad.

I'm just thinking out loud. I don't have a big problem with it all, because at the end of the day, the best team went home with the crystal. I'm just saying the dynamics with which it all unfolded was kind of awkward, to me at least.

I respect your 2011 squad as one of the best defenses ever fielded, with an offense that featured one of the better RBs to play in the SEC and a QB that didn't make mistakes.

First of all, Alabama should never have been in that game. Oklahoma State was the better team. They had way more time to prepare due to not having to play a conference championship game, which is extremely unfair and wouldn't probably be ethical if not for one of Saban's friends being the NCAA President.

The ball is back in your court. "We" took "our" shot. Now what do you have?

We crossed the 50 a number of times...on defense, but still, we crossed it!

This is just bullshite. When LSU was preparing to play Georgia in Atlanta, Saban and his coaching staff were out recruiting while the players were getting ready for their final exams. Alabama didn't even know they would be playing LSU again until the day after the SEC title game.

I think 2011 Oklahoma State is better than a lot of people give them credit for, but they absolutely would have lost to both LSU and Alabama.

It's only one more week anyway, really not enough time to make a huge difference when you've got fifteen practices for the national title anyway.

They were good, but they lost to IOWA STATE. Its hard for me to think that they were better than LSU and Alabama.

OSU also should have lost to Stanford in the bowl game anyway. Stanford outplayed them for most of the game, but it was coaching mistakes at the end of the game and in overtime that cost the Cardinals the Fiesta Bowl.
