LMAO wat? Ford wasn't the best in coverage but he led the team in tackles in 2014 and 2015 and was 3rd in 2016.

He had 118 tackles in 2015 alone. 280 on his career

Look, I understand you want to try to save face after being called out on a dumbass comment but at least try to do a little research before pulling shite out of your arse

Its never a good sign when your Safety is the leading tackler, think about how shitty those defenses were. BTW I was dead on about our basketball team in mid Jan while Yall were drinking the Kool Aid.

NFL.com

quote:

BOTTOM LINE Ford has been a solid starter and productive tackler as a three-year starter in the SEC, but his tight hips and lack of instant acceleration could limit what teams are able to ask from him in coverage. He will likely have to add some weight and try to prove himself as a backup box safety who can make plays on special teams.

Yeah he will be great on special teams

Well no shite, but you straight up said Ford was, and I quote, "a shitty arse tackler for 3 solid years."

His numbers might not reflect well on the defense as a whole, but they straight up prove that you're full of shite and he was a good tackler.

2014 sucked but 2015 and 2016 were two of our best defenses in nearly a decade. 2016 we were #28 in total defense and #7 In scoring defense.

Yeah he will be great on special teams

You're either literally retarded or purposely trolling

Nobody tried to say that Ford was going to be some great pro. We said he was a very good college safety for Auburn.

What you quoted is an NFL scout agreeing with what everybody else said and completely contradicting all of your original points (that he was "a pretty awful safety" and a "shitty arse tackler")

quote:

Ford has been a solid starter and productive tackler as a three-year starter in the SEC

Thanks for taking the time to find an NFL scouting report that helps my point

Because you lead the team in tackling doesnt make you a great tackler, it might just be that you are the best tackler of a bunch of worse tacklers like being the tallest midget.

I admit I must be a corky as well. I was never overly impressed with Ford. not as physical as guys like Zac Etheridge, Daren Bates, T'Bell, Aaron Savage. you have to be physical to play safety and he just never was.

I think the consensus is that he was a solid to above average Safety at our weakest position on defense the past two years.

But I think you're right, I'd have a hard time starting him over most of those guys

I would say you could do that w most guys on that list though and say the same thing.

Ford isn't the worst and probably not the best on that list. Those guys were pretty damn productive for us though

You are joking right? Etheridge and Savage are two of the worst safeties to ever suit up for Auburn in my lifetime. Bell was not very good, just fast. Bates was physical, but routinely blew coverage assignment.

Rudy would start over all those guys
