On top of the fact that he openly told Ross to ban him.
All Ross did was accomodate him.

You are joking right? Etheridge and Savage are two of the worst safeties to ever suit up for Auburn in my lifetime. Bell was not very good, just fast. Bates was physical, but routinely blew coverage assignment. Rudy would start over all those guys
NONE were as bad as Whitehead and that dude is still in the league

As shitty as spring has been, it's still better than no football at all.
Yup.
I try to read the al.com articles for updates, at least it is something. I just have to be sure to avoid the comments section.
They have an article up about Paul James Paul James
quote:
"At times, he's just a little gimpy with that knee, and I don't know if it's physical or if it's mental, I really don't know, but he's got to get well," said Garner, Auburn's defensive line coach. "There's not a premium on one-legged defensive ends; that's just not a high demand for that position with that skill set."
quote:
Garner has discussed James' status with head athletic trainer Robbie Stewart, and the defensive line coach said he still isn't sure if it's just a mental hurdle -- which is common for anyone making a return from such an injury -- or if the knee is still physically limiting James this spring.

Just a little something to spice up the SPRING in Spring Practice NSFW

with from that beautiful gif from Rocky, I'm extremely excited about how things are going with this team. Mixing a QB like Stidham in with a playcaller that likes to create more balance is EXACTLY what this offense needed. And we finally have some depth at QB.
I know that our OL is a concern, but I also believe this to be somewhat of a function of how damn talented we are on the DL. Also, the defense ABSOLUTELY should be ahead of where the offenses are at this point in the season. The defenses know the calls and checks, so any good D that isn't able to slow down the offense some...isn't a good defense.
I think this is a championship team with a floor of 9 wins. (sunshine emoticon)

I actually agree with you 100% but let's just acknowledge that if you switch around a few of those names/groups this is like every spring prediction ever, even down to the explanation of the D making the O look bad and the 9 win floor

I read an article about Kam Martin.
Looks like Lindsey is putting in his offensive philosophy.
And KJ commented that Kam is learning the offense right along with everyone else and is coming along really good.
I want to believe.

Lindsey’s focus on giving running backs the opportunity to catch the ball more out of the backfield also plays into Martin’s strengths.

Maybe this will force our defense to learn how to defense the flats. Teams killed is late last year with this play. Joe Mixon got himself drafted with it in the bowl game.

Yeah, Oklahoma killed us for sure on those RB passes. You make a good point that is using it could help us learn to defend it better.

From the Recruiting Thread..
FSU 5th year senior OG Wilson Bell is transferring to AU and eligible right away. He started 19 games for the Noles over his career. Will definitely give us more depth...
He was a 3* prospect out of HS

Lost his job to a very talented frosh at the same position midway through last year. He's solid and will get meaningful snaps, and if nothing else it's great depth to have.

I'm happy with the transfer but I feel like we have 10 OL that don't project to OT that also can't seem to see the field at guard.
