I love this.

In 1987 Nick Saban was a good DC. nothing more.

Chad Morris > Gus Malzahn as an offensive mind and it isn’t even close.

Hell, in 1999 he was a mediocre HC.

Some act like there's some simple metric for determining whether an HC will have a great career. It's a crap shoot.

Case in point, from 2008:

ETA: didn't realize it, but we will likely see him roaming the sidelines at Jordan-Hare next November 17th

He also improved on the offense to turn it into a multidimensional college attack. The core of Malzahn's offense isn't the problem. Malzahn's inability to improve and adapt the weaknesses in his own implementation is.

Morris would go to a Texas school before he came to AU though. Extremely strong ties to Texas. If he is good enough for AU, he'd be on their radar too

So then OkSt loses their major funding source? Idk, I just don't think he is as tied to OkSt as people think and there has been smoke around him wanting to be out

I keep seeing Jeff Brohm thrown around but I don't know much about him other than he coaches at Purdue. Does he have a preference to what type of offense or defense he wants to run? Or does let the coordinators have free run of it?

You’re so dense.

Chad Morris isn’t in the Gus Malzahn coaching tree.

They simply have some of the same principles installed into an offense.

You clearly don't know what a coaching tree is. You are doing a good job of proving TTs point about you being dense

Ya, you quoted TTs comment about coaching tree and then claimed he was ignorant for saying it

i said that he learned his offense from malzahn

Can't believe no one linked that Gus/Morris have the same principles built into their offense... oh wait, the TTs full comment you quoted did
