Hard to take your post serious when you lost Petrino... that ship(or jet) sailed 14 years ago.

Mullen to TAMU may already be a done deal.

Why would you say that?

This is likely to be a "Tom Herman to LSU" type thing with even less legs. If Mullen were to become an attractive candidate at TAMU, Notre Dame would hire him

No, Gus said we will see more running backs. That's all I needed to hear.

I'm telling you, he may not get it but would be a candidate and get an interview, and that's Mike Bobo. Scored an arse load of points at UGA

D - Mase (tough God fearing man and his kids love him. EXCELLENT defensive mind).

Jeff Brohm (Potential to be Petrino without the baggage).

We should go for broke and grab Sean Payton.

Saints would probably welcome someone taking him off their hands. Just would cost us $9mil/year

We can start raising the money by cutting Jacobs' salary

First and foremost I offer a blank check to Jimbo, Dabo, Bob Stoops, and Chip. Make them all tell me no

You're not the only one saying this (and not just about our potential opening) - but what is the deal with Bobo all of the sudden?

He was good but not above criticism at UGA, and appears to be solid but not spectacular at CSU?

Chip Kelly is another name a lot of people bring up, but I'm curious about.

How would he do recruiting in the SEC? Also, he had a great record at Oregon, but how was the conference overall while he was there? Quick look and Stanford was the main competition. USC had a couple decent years. In 2010, most of the other teams were mediocre.

Caught a lot of crap from uga fans no doubt but score a bunch of points.. on everyone really. Can develop QBs. I'm not sure of his recruiting and it would depend on his D.C. Hire

I just want a proven winner (on the college level, not high school level), not another experiment.

for right now, until further notice, as information becomes available about the background and character of each man, they are, in order:
1. brent venerables
2. jeff brohm
3. dan mullen (holding my nose, but malzahn is bad enough to actually take this a-hole)
4.bill clark (heard an interview he gave, impressive)
5.mike norvell ( a real offensive mind)

Why would a coach leave Va Tech for Auburn? Serious question.

Love many of the names, but I think we may have missed the Mullen train, if he has a big year.

Like Mason,Clark & Venerables.

Would prefer JJ get fired before making any move on Gus. Still a chance he could turn it around.
