When asked at a recent press conference (by PM) how he and Lashlee coordinate things between them (as in who calls plays, who does gameplans, etc.) Gus was pretty vague and just said "we do it the same way we've always done it." He also said something like "we have discussions about plays."
Reading between the lines, it sounds like he is trying not to throw Lashlee under the bus. He is very vague with exactly what Lashlee's responsibilities are. I don't know if his vagueness is because Lashlee is calling plays (and he doesn't want to embarrass him) or if it's because Lashlee does jack shite and he doesn't want to look like an idiot himself.
EDIT: Just want to add that if Lashlee is fired, I don't see it doing much good *if* Gus plans on continuing running the offense he currently is. If Gus pulls a 2012 Chizik and decides to start over on offense, there is little reason for him to be AU's HC because I think there are better CEO coaches out there.
This is one of the problems with being a HC who acts as the OC or DC. If things go to shite on that side of the ball, there is no one to fire.

I would like to see another West Coaster come in at OC like we did with Borges.

Let's just face it peeps. Firing Tubs was probably a mistake. He was a very good program manager, a good recruiter, and kept players in line for the most part. AU also always had top defenses.
2008 was a disaster, but I think Tubs would have rebounded soon enough. He would have found the right spread guru to come in (hell he might have even hired Gus).

I wouldn't trade 2 SEC titles and NC for Tuberville.

If you don't like conference championships and playing for national championships, then yeah... firing Tubbs was a mistake.
otherwise, your statement is retarded.

I'll also say this.
I don't think our offense if far off. We have significant talent and heart. They haven't given up.
With some tweaks in play calling, this offense becomes very, very dangerous again.
There is way, way too much predictability in the offense, and even we, a bunch of knucklehead fans, can see that. Imagine a defensive coordinator with their whole life dedicated to football analyzing film.

CEJ fired last season, this season Lashlee. Who will the scapegoat be next season? Or will we finally get around to who the real problem is?

Which UGA poster are you?

What exactly are you basing that on?
1. Does he call the plays?
2. Has he had the opportunity to develop a Qb? Has that Qb been successful?
3. Which recruits has he been instrumental in recruiting to Auburn?
4. Does he relate to the players or inspire them to perform at a high level?

Either Lashlee has a lot of input and he has some responsibility on the shite show this year and should be fires
Or
Lashlee doesn't have a lot of input nor responsibility and is paid $650,000 to be a GA with a fancier title and we should get someone who contributes
