I mentioned this several weeks ago. RL was encouraged to move on last year. Felt the offers were beneath him. Will be told to go this year, and Bentley is likely to become QB coach, and maybe Co-OC with CDC.
Garner moves to TE coach, and Will brings in a new DL coach.
But what do I know? I'm F-in nuts!

I honestly question anyone who tries to bring info here. I won't be doing it ever again, and KK would do well to do the same.
Enjoy Raaaandy.

We've been in every game other than LSU. Sometimes you just have bad years.
Our Heisman candidate QB turned out to be a dud. It wasn't just Malzahn that thought JJ was going to be great. 99% of college football people did too, including all of the motherfrickers on this message board who are now experts. That's the reason we've lost so many games this year, along with a very very slowly improving, but still shitty, defense.

This is the best thing for both Lashlee and Malzahn to get away from each other and both grow as playcallers. As for Garner, i like having him on our side and would like to see him with the TEs and bringing in a new line coach.

I agree JJs suckage this year took everyone by surprise. When the guy everyone was relying on shite the bed we nosedived. Running game went to shite because we really didn't have an established guy and the passing game did not allow it to really ever develop. When you get in the redzone and teams know all they have to do is stop the run and we are finished its not hard to do.

When I see Carlton Davis, and others, I am encouraged.
Sean is a gamer, and maybe a great before all is said, and done.
I think Queen has a higher ceiling. (When you are done laughing...) He beat better teams very week in HS. Can make all the throws. He and the Bentley kid are all you need.

Don't bring it here if you aren't ok with being called out when it was wrong.

I never thought I'd see Gus do this.
He is probably interested in keeping his own job after next year.
With Beamer retiring, the OC at VT will probably be available.

He should be gone. He brings nothing to the table. The guy earns the easiest paycheck ever.

Promoting from within is not much of an improvement from RL.

You have no idea what he does. Neither does anyone else on the board

He's been under Gus his whole career, except one year at Samford. I highly doubt he brings anything new to the table. This board is for opinions. That's why we post.

I know what I've been told, which is already in this thread. I'm not saying it's right or wrong but I will tell you this much. If we go 5-7 or 6-6 after the very high expectations that were had internally in the AD & big boosters for this season there will be at least 1 coaching change. You can bet on that. Whether it's moving Garner to TEs & bringing in a new DL coach or getting Rhett to take a small HC job like was supposedly asked of him last year trying to get him to take the Samford job, IDK. But there will be some kind of change in all likelihood.
