8 of 18 plays were something other than a run up the gut. 44%.
You're including FG attempts in this?

Nice. I love disingenuity.

Here is the actual breakdown of plays. We'll exclude the botched snap and the lucky TO of Mullen as well.

10 - runs between the tackles
3 - passing attempts
1 - runs outside the tackles

10/14 plays were runs up the middle = 71%

Do you have the 4th down yardage needed for 1st down on the FG attempt?
9 yds
2 yds - delay of game backed it up to 7 yds
7 yds

That's why I asked if you had the yardage to a first down on those attempts.

This is the coaches know best argument spread out over 2 paragraphs. While it might be true, I don't think I can accept that argument any longer.

I'm not saying they know best.

I'm saying they know what they know (and you guys can decide on whether or not that's good or bad on your own) AND they have a track record of stubbornness to suggest that not a damn thing is going to change

If we lose tonight I just don't see how we don't finish 0-8 in conference. Maybe one or two conference wins but thats just fricking pitiful. I'm so fricking pissed I have to watch this bullshite tonight.

But in one sentence you day SW potential is irrelevant, but in the next you say he doesn't have the capability otherwise the coaches wouldnt handcuff him with play calling.

Does his potential matter or do the coaches know best and know he is incapable?

Just saying his potential doesn't matter because the coaches aren't letting him reach it. I'm guessing that's because White sucks in practices too.

But again, that doesn't mean that I think what they're doing is best. I'd rather see them let White test his ability with a broader playbook. But the coaching staff's actions lead me to believe they're not going to let him do that.

I agree and it is extremely frustrating.

Disagree, we were in the red zone 3 other times that game including a missed field goal. The play calling in the red zone was horrendous. They were running sweeps and rollout a instead of up the middle. Sure the QB needs to execute but the play calling is the key.

Please tell me you're joking...

The reason we lost that game is because when we got in the redzone it's because we had the most predictable playcalling. We would run up the middle twice for practically nothing and then throw it on 3rd and long. There were no sweeps or rollouts. I would've loved to see one

ETA: ahh I see Joey already took care of this

I'll step down some. I honestly didn't realize we ran that many dive plays , I guess being drunk during the game, and the roll outs and sweeps hurt more when I was watching.

ETA: SW hasn't performed poorly enough to lose the starting job to JJ, like JJ did to lose it to SW imo.

Who would have ever thought that our basketball conference win % > football?

Sean White looked like when Clint Mosely took over in 2011.

I was definitely on the pump the brakes on SW train after everyone was going crazy after the Miss St. game but a Clint comparison? That's pretty harsh.

Pretty sure our worst basketball season ever we had a conference win % > 2012 football.

You mean Sean White's stat line
26/38 296yds 7.8 YPA 68% 0TD 1 INT 128.6 Rating

is that much better than Mosley in 2011?
66/108 800yds 7.4YPA 61% 5TD 3 INT 133.1 Rating

Since Sean White hasn't played a good D, the better comparison is taking out Mosley's games against an unreal 2011 Bama D + very good UGA D

Mosley v LSU/OM/UF/Samford

44/68 598 YDs 64.7% 5 TD 1 INT

ETA**** Let's not even get into the fact our OL this year is considerably better than 2011

2015- Coleman Kozan Golson BSmith Young

2011- B Moseley (legit) FR Chad Slade/AJ Greene/FR C Dismukes/John Sullen

If you can't see the difference between White and Moseley then there's no sense in arguing with you

I think White is clearly better, but he isn't going to win you games right now. Just like Clint, he isn't going to lose games for you and he isn't going to win them
