Out of an active roster of 53, 5 of the Browns players are from Auburn.

My mathematical calculation shows that the Browns roster consists of 9.4% Auburn players.

King Dunlap just had a huge play that allowed Gordon a huge 48 yard run.

Something to brag about until you realize it's the Browns. Then you don't know if you should be ashamed or proud

Louis just made a hell of a play (after getting a false start penalty ). 40 yard catch and run on a busted play.

It was fitting that at the tail end of the game Cam was almost sacked from a three man rush against a prevent defense.
Fire:
-Gettleman
-Goodell( just because I enjoy hating the bastard)
-Remmer
-Shula
-Ted Ginn
-Oher
-Graham Gano
-every damn CB that isn't a rookie

Give a raise to:
-Kuechly
-Thomas Davis SR

I'm glad Carolina lost. Glad Olsen had a decent game.

I'm sure you did enjoy the victory. Carolina might as well tank the rest of the season. They don't have the pieces to make much noise. They need to be set up nicely for the draft. Get another OT or WR or CB.

See, I don't get this. This team may not be the best team in the NFL, but its in the top half talent-wise.

They're not 1-5 because of the GM. They're 1-5 because Ron Rivera's defense is cheese-cloth and his offensive coordinator is a brain-dead daddy's boy.

I had respect for Gettleman until he refused to work with Norman. Now we are fielding shite CBs or rookie CBs when we have a veteran squad and should be contending for playoffs. Shula is growing on me. He has done some good things for Cam.

Also, Hurney might have spent at will but he was the one that acquired our real talent thus far.
• linebacker Thomas Davis (first round, 14th overall in 2005),

• center Ryan Kalil (second round, 59th overall in 2007),

• running back Jonathan Stewart (first round, 13th overall in 2008),

• quarterback Newton (first round, first overall in 2011),

• linebacker Luke Kuechly (first round, ninth overall in 2012),

• cornerback Josh Norman (fifth round, 143rd overall in 2012).

He also traded for Olsen and signed Tolbert. That's literally the heart and soul of our team.

Which is, of course, totally arse-backwards from how it actually happened, but don't stop being you jang.

He rescinded his franchise tag offer knowing that he was well worth the money. They could've got him with that if they tried to. He doesn't like to "rent a player for a year". If that's the way he wants it, so be it. But his sticking to his guns only allowed our defensive secondary to become a disaster. We did just give up 171 receiving yards to Brandin Cooks and 300 to Julio.
"But don't stop being you," Gettleman.

You do understand that if Norman had fricking SIGNED the franchise tag, that Gettleman would not have been able to rescind it, right?

And that Norman and his agent chose to play hard-ball and made it clear to Gettleman that they had no intention of signing the franchise tag?

So if a GM has been told a guy isn't going to sign it, what harm is their in rescinding something that the other side has made clear that they don't intend to sign?

You do understand that Norman had to sign the damn thing for him to have the franchise tag single-year contract, don't you?

Do you also understand what it meant, after Gettleman rescinded the franchise tag, that Norman fired his agent that had convinced him to play hard-ball?

I'll just wait here while you ponder these questions.

Josh Norman made a last minute attempt

I guess you either didn't or couldn't read those words.

You do understand that was AFTER the tag that Norman refused to sign was already rescinded?

You do understand that right? Remember when I told you he fired his agent and got a new one? That was all part of the "last minute" stuff when he saw that his bluff had been called.

Here was the stone cold difference between Norman and his negotiating team and Gettleman: Norman and his guys wanted to play games and make demands and not negotiate because they thought they had all the leverage. Gettleman didn't feel like playing games.

Norman and his agents never a single time negotiated in good faith. The Panthers moved on.

Yep. And then Norman offered to sign it. Don't act like Norman, a homegrown man, never wanted to sign it.
Gettleman could've re-entered negotiations. He chose not to. Not Norman. Now Norman is having a pro bowl year again and we fricking suck because of your apparent cock buddy. His apparent philosophy is if you have a front seven then why even field a secondary! And then he makes Bene Benikerwe the scapegoat for the Julio Jones 300 yards game which was his doing. So much stupidity

It's crazy how Norman has blown up in the NFL when he was invisible at Auburn.
