I'm kind of frickin with you but I agree with your premise. I like having a Pettway/KJ dynamic. I view it as a better Dyer/Omac dynamic
As in we ideally should have a bruiser bell cow for 60-75% of carries w a "scat"/change of pace type guy. While I would prefer a 235+ and 205ish combo, guys like Tre Mason or Kerryon can pull it off (especially if they are 2nd option like KJ behind Pett)
What I'm disagreeing w is that having 3 guys who can be the bell cow, 3 scat backs should be plenty of depth
As for future recruiting we don't seem to like this thunder and lightning setup so that is weird

We just need to adopt the Alabama steroid model.
ABC showed Bama's secret to success in the 4th qtr, taking speed.

Why are we recruiting projects that need to gain 25 pounds over a two year period before they can help us like we need them to do
I'm going to disagree with you in that I think Barrett could tote the rock 20 times a game for us and be fine physically.
But if you go by the 247 rankings of the top 25 RB, only 5 meet your criteria. Of those only 2 are in our regional recruiting area.

Glad to see we've moved on from Quarterback height to Runningback weight.
Carlson had a bad game. Better start measuring kicker's shoe size to determine exit angles on FG attempts

Marcello said on the podcast that a "very strong" source says they expect him out for an extended period

Damn. I hate that for him. I love the way he always fights for yards.

They seem to be guessing roughly about 3-4 weeks + likely not 100% when he does come back
I'd guess we start seeing him vs MSU or Ole Miss in a limited capacity at the earliest

If we have him for LSU, I'll be happy.

I dont. Not consistently. I will set the O/U for power backs vs scat backs at 210
Tre Mason was 210 soaking wet.
With his helmet on.
Wearing double-socks.
Edit: Already asked and answered. Have another Don Julio beatbammer.

We're not at wiener measurement yet but the way recruiting is going we're getting close.

We just need to make sure everyone is 18. Otherwise it would be weird and creepy

Recruiting is creepy.

He hasn't been able to stay healthy since he joined the team. Don't get me wrong, he is incredibly talented,
I was resoundly hazed when I said he wasn't an every-down back last year, and it's proving to be true. I love Kerryon. Love his attitude. Love his work ethic. But he is too fragile to be an every-down back. Just is what it is.
