Saw where people said they saw him with ice on hamstring. That's it. Anyone hear anything?

He was done for the season. He was in there against UGA and OU but he was never close to 100%

I think we should just accept the fact that KJ is not going to be able to help us. Its on Pettway and Miller for big backs

I could see him dressing and being used in certain situations maybe as a decoy or catch a wheel route or something but I don't see him getting any carries. Probably be back week 4

This. Was anyone really surprised when KJ went down? He hasn't been able to stay healthy since he joined the team. Don't get me wrong, he is incredibly talented, and given a more resilient physiological makeup, he could be one of the best RBs in CFB. Unfortunately, he's build like Mr. Glass from Unbreakable. Sad.

What?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with his mindset. He is made of glass though

Physiological: relating to the branch of biology that deals with the normal functions of living organisms and their parts.

C'mon, man. Really?

yep. I like him and he is great... For about 15 carries then he is out for 6 games.

Which is why I have discussed the running back depth for every down backs all summer. But our Recruiting pros here say were good

I don't think I'm stating anything everyone doesn't already know but if he even just tweaked his hammy he'll be out until Missouri at the earliest. Mid-October if he pulled it.

The problem with hamstrings (I've pulled both legs twice, did my rehab at the campus sports clinic) is that even if it feels fine in rehab, ultrasound/ice, etc and you test it 50-75% satisfactorily, until you test it with an hour of activity you don't know if it's 100% healed. You risk pulling it completely. Youve gotta wait even if it feels fine after a week or two.

Yup our lack of depth really showed Saturday when our 3rd string RB rushed for over 100 yds...

We still have two KJ replacements in Martin/Barrett plus two bruisers in Pettway/Malik Miller

If Pett gets injured we are screwed. We'd be screwed regardless of the "depth" though
