1000 points for referencing Craig Cannon and pills
FWIW, you could have 2000 points if you would have incorporated his half smile

The NWA/ LR trolling is so tiresome. I've never understood it. I love both areas. I love going to games in both places. I cannot imagine not going to either location purely on principle. Plenty of people on both sides of the fence cutting off their nose to spite their face.
I think this compromise and the timing of it is brilliant. The money issue seems weird to me, though. WMS giving up a game and then not charging rent the last two years doesn't add up with the $1.2M payment, which makes it seem like a buyout.
I think it's possible that WMS is floating a balloon to see how alcohol sales affect its viability. That may help get it a bowl game. That may help ASU draw better. One big Hog game and an ASU game and a bowl game (or whatever) may help it hang on.
This compromise is probably a death knell, but I don't think WMS is necessarily throwing in the towel. Until the last game, I'll continue to enjoy the unique experience. Fayetteville is awesome and I love games in RRS, but I still have a terrific time on Gamedays in Little Rock.

I agree with Baker. Personally I think the Fayetteville game day experience is better than Little Rock, but I like the throwback feel of War Memorial too.

Speaking of 'game day experience' there needs to be a serious overhaul.
First, while the band is good, they sound great and I am not in ANY way knocking the musicians, there needs to be a serious overhaul in their programming.
The William Tell Overture, the Hey Song, the Swing March... all that was cool back in the 70's or so. It's time to update.
LSU's band programming is 20 times better than the stuff we're playing. They rock. Even MSU's pep band was playing better stuff (nowhere near LSU's level, but still better than the charts we played)
That said, I do really like the arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner they have been using the last couple of years. Anyone know who arranged it? (I will be shocked if anyone on here knows that but really would like to know.)
