@harrykingsports: starting in 2014, razorbacks to play one game per year in little rock with contract extended through 2018. stadium commission agrees today.

@harrykingsports: instead of six games in little rock during next three years, arkansas will play five during next five years. good compromise

I'll take it.

That means after 2018 there will be no games there.

It's going to be difficult if we continued this route and only had 2 conference games on the hill in 2015

I'm guessing non-conference game. Fine with it. After Saturday, I would have been on board with no games at WMS.

Doing the wave while there's someone hurt (even if it's not a player) is just tacky.

Getting the Georgia game there is better than Samford and MSU combined.

Contract guarantees a minimum of 2 SEC games. Georgia is one which means the UofA only has to make 1 of the next 4 a conference game.

Georgia coming to Little Rock seems fine to me, as long as they fill the stadium up.

LR>NWA :ducksforcover:

Kidding. For me, its more of a nostalgia thing than anything. I grew up going to LR games. My family had LR season tickets and tried to make a Fayetteville game every year. I went to pretty much every LR game from 1996-2010, missing only a couple here and there due to out of town conflicts. I remember freezing my arse off when Manning and the Vols came to LR. I remember Carlos Hall's block against SC, I remember getting pissed during Miracle on Markham 2 at the fans who left early, then laughing at them on the way out of the stadium when we won, and I remember staying in the stadium with everyone else for about 30 minutes after LSU 2010 because none of us wanted to leave. I understand why they are moving and it makes complete sense, but I still hate to see the LR games coming to an end. The thing I hate the most about it is the hate that goes back and forth on the argument. The yankees vs. redneck bull shite gets old and is pretty offensive sometimes. I never understood why an argument over the location of football games could draw so many insults and hatred between fans.

I have moved out of the state (my last home game was LSU 2010, and it was probably my favorite game as a Razorback fan) so this doesn't affect me as much as it does my parents and their ability to go to games. I'll still support whether they stop them in 2018 or extend it a few more years. After all, they are the Arkansas Razorbacks, not the LR/Fayetteville Razorbacks.
