this is what Arkansas football is all about. Getting our hopes crushed right on the cusp of greatness.

Feels like when Knile fricked his ankle up this time of year and the sun shine pumpers started with the "Wingo and DJ are just as good, but haven't gotten the chance" non-sense.

DJ was better. Averaged 5.9 YPC over his career. And literally nobody is saying RW is better than JWill, so no it's not like that at all.

Doesn't feel good for the one position that should have no problem reloading on his team, RB, being one of the the thinnest and biggest question marks going into Bert's third season.

Meh, just the other day we were talking in the fall camp thread about how we'd have to RS Rawleigh because we had two proven veteran and a capable upperclassman in Walker. I'm not farting rainbows here, but we still have a back who's run for 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons, a big/strong upperclassman with game experience dating back to 2011, and a promising true freshman the coaches are raving about.

I wouldn't call it one of the biggest question marks going into 2015, but I'd be lying if I said I said I wasn't a tad concerned about depth or that I felt good about our tailback situation going into 2016.

Still though, Bert's literally never not had a 1,000 yard rusher dating back to his Wisconsin days.

The only bigger question mark on the team is the LBs outside of Kickers who no one is going to discuss in great detail anyway.

We went 11-2 that season so maybe we'll have a repeat there as well.

I'd rank the depth/talent concerns as
1. LB
2. PK/P
3. OL (we have 3 freshmen on the two-deep)
4. RB

I would rank it as:

1. LB
2. RB
3. PK

I'm not worried about the O-line as long as Sam is here, he knows what he is doing.

How is kicker a concern? We have the equivalent of two specialist 5 stars in Johnson and Hedlund. Mcfain we know is decent and Toby Baker almost took Irwin Hill's spot last year.

Because of this.

Its an unknown, we know what we have in McFain, which isn't a calm easing feeling compared to the guy they have been trying to replace in Hocker.

It's hardly a known quantity with that group. I'm optimistic we can pull it together, but it's still an unknown.

so that leaves us with

collins
walker (who is capable)
williams
evans / day(?)

that's not horrible. not the best in the SEC or anything but it's not horrible. as long as we dont' have any omre serious injuries and as long as collins is healthy it is not a concern position.

The O-linemen who switched positions better have it all together from day one.

True Frosh, meaning blocking schemes, routes, playbook in general need to be learned.

Injured.
