I seriously don't think there is anyone worse. No sarcasm.

I'm torn on Chaney. One the one hand, if we had a half decent QB that checks his damn options -- or even the BA that showed up in the Ole Miss game -- I don't think Chaney gets as much hate as he does now. On the other hand, part of being the OC is knowing what you're working with and adjusting accordingly. I don't think he's done a great job at that, though I don't think he's done as poorly as some think.

I'm not a huge fan of BA either, but the play calling is beyond awful, and Chaney did no better at TN. They were ecstatic to get rid of him. We can get much better imo, regardless of who's at QB.

The football gods have not stopped punishing us for the Petrino years; Chaney stays at least one more year. If I had to make a guess I would say that Shannon with his recruiting ties to Florida is the likely pick to get lured away.

i might actually cry if it's him. i seriously don't think i've ever been as impressed with a coach in a single season as i have him.

I'll guess Shannon

and hope it's Cheney, unless that makes Pittman sad, then I hope we don't lose anyone.

Coming from someone 500 miles away, I have more trouble coming up with accomplishments for our RB coach than from any other position coach, in terms of on the field performance and recruiting.

Too many fumbles from our two stud RBs, 1,000 yd rushers but no feeling of reliability late in games if that makes any sense, and obviously didn't have an effective influence on Marshall.

I'd give my left testicle to get rid of Chaney, but sadly, as mentioned, he'll be around for another year.

Yeah, I'm sort of on the fence with Thomas. It's tough to throw shade at a coach who's had three 1,000 yard rushers in two years, but our running game seemed pretty unreliable later on in the season. Collins' 1,000 yards felt a bit like empty calories because he didn't have a 100 yard game after September, but it's tough to argue with a 5.5 ypc on the year for both Williams and Collins.

Florida just hired State's DC so Shannon won't be taking that job at least.

Which is ridiculous. How that guy doesn't land blue chip tailbacks on the regular by pointing to our run game and the stats of Collins/Williams, I'll never know. Who knows, maybe it's because he's from Washington and went to Idaho, but he needs to step up this recruiting season.

I don't think the reason our running game was unreliable later in the season is because our running backs weren't coached well enough. I think it's because we lacked sufficient depth on the OL and because other teams played to stop our running game.

I knew what you meant, you wrote it with such little emotion or melt. If it had been the "real SMith" Surely you would have taken the time to break it down to us more gently!

No, NeNe is on the ATL housewives show. I love her too. ... The Jersey ones are kind of like older Jersey Shore folks with a little money. ... Their fights, especially with their accents, are epic. Bunch of high strung Italians. ... They're great. ... Hell, I think one of the original couples from the show is going to prison for like 40+ counts of bankruptcy fraud & other scams.
