and the WR's and Skill positions are looking around?

When the OC who pushes a passing game, without the talent on the hill to accomplish it... what happens to those recruits who would aid in this goal?

Hmmmm.... if true, better have a better option known by the kids like Hill, Gragg, and use the abilities of J Corn, Jojo, better... JMHO

I don't ant Chaney any longer but I'd hate to see Georgia hire him and he tear it up with the talent they have.

I really don't care. Chaney can be a good OC in the right system, I don't doubt that. His numbers proved that at Tenn. that system just isn't us.

Well David Lee is out of a job w/ the Jets.

As is Rex Ryan.

Dirk Koetter is out of a job w/ the Falcons.

Terry Robieske, WR coach is out w/ the Falcons. (New Orleans area native, record setting and All-SEC RB @ LSU in the late 70's, and African American. Has coached continuously in the NFL since 1982. Wonder if he'd like recruiting?

Mike Tice is out of a job w/ the Falcons. OC, maybe?

Clint Hurtt is out of a job w/ the Bears.... hmmmmmm, time to get dirty.

as is Reggie Herring. lol, frick that guy.

Tom Rathman is out of a job w/ the 49ers, he coached RB's and I'd love for that dude to be our RB coach. Loved him as a player.

Jim Leavitt is out of a job w/ the 49ers. Coached LB's.

John Morton is out of a job w/ the 49ers. WR Coach, and previous Harbaugh assistant at San Diego, and USC offensive coordinator. Would expect him to go to Michigan but I'd take him over Michael Smith any day.

and the crown jewel.... Greg Roman is out of a job w/ the 49ers and all of the FBS CFB jobs have been filled. So he's locked out of a HC job unless it's in the NFL and his name hasn't really been mentioned with any openings. Maybe he follows Harbaugh to Michigan but I'd maybe look around if I were Roman.

Dammit this is the best post in the entire history of this board. The stars have aligned for us to bring in the greatest mind in football.

This must happen.

I dont think the SEC could handle Tice and Bert on the same sideline.

So, apparently Randy Shannon is going to split time as LB coach for Auburn and Florida.

Dude has been offered every job in the country but for some reason he always stays. Hopefully some in our fanbase will wake up and realize he actually likes it here

A perfect ending to this season would be Cheney leaving or getting fired.

Sucks because he's a great coach but I was never impressed with his recruiting. He lucked into Kirkland but pretty much everyone else he got had very few major offers.

I don't really care either way, great coach, but we knew when we hired him from TCU he was going to be here 2-3 years tops.

He left us in a much better place than he found us.

that's lateral as frick.

You're right w/ the guys Shannon was getting. They were all diamonds in the rough types outside of Kirkland. JoJo didn't have as many P5 offers as you'd think, with his arrest and the crew he was running with he has some character issues that Bielema would normally not accept.

Hopefully this means we've locked Robb Smith up, Smith and Shannon were sort of redundant, but we're losing a valuable asset in Shannon. I'm confident that Bert will find a solid replacement. LB was his forte, and it's Robb Smith's as well.

We've got to start paying the assistants better. They make a frick ton of cash, but it's lower tier money in the SEC. In this conference you've got to pay to play.
