He's a tool.

However, if I knew there'd be no drama I wouldn't mind if we took him.

I want to win games so put him on the team.

I would be OK with Dyer walking on and getting a chance to prove himself. IMO, it wouldn't hurt us to do that. He's definitely a good running back.

You aren't welcomed back Dyer.

Compared to Dyer? Absolutely.

Umad?

Why would I be mad? I really don't care if the guy is here or not but if he can help us win a couple games and stay out of trouble then suit him up.

Risk is not worth the reward in this case.

We hope that is the case but right now it is unknown. I hope Collins has the same start to his career that Dyer had.

i always think of that run in the nc game- where he went down but not fully down and then ran on and on. i think of it in comparison to dj in the sugar bowl. dj had the brain to know to try to go on (even tho it got called back) and dyer had to be told from the sidelines. i know that doesn't matter but it always made me wonder why oh why in life a dumbass gets the luck and a wonderful person dj gets the shaft.

When dealing with such a difficult questions, it is best to make a list of pros and cons.

Since it didn't get a response on the rant, I'll post the updated version here:

How many years of eligibility does he have left? Isn't next year his last?

You and Dale are killing it. Battle these fricks on the rant as long as I have and you'll learn to relish when flame material presents itself.

If Bert does let Dyer walk on we'll get months worth of integrity, tBeacon, don't want to be like the SEC, rtc etc threads.

God forbid if he actually plays well and he's instrumental in beating a few sec teams. And shut the internet down if he gets arrested on Dickson.

I'm being told that any rumors stating UCA will take Michael Dyer are unfounded.

Nobody wants the guy

2 years left but most likely only going to be wherever he goes for 1 year.

No way Bielema does it. However I hear he has a distant relative named Mark Diar who just started playing backyard football and has the exact same skillset as cousin Mike.

Michael Dyer Update

quote:

80 minutes ago Premium Post
This time, it's not completely a dead deal that Dyer could end up at Arkansas. While it may very well not happen, it's not completely out of the question that Arkansas does allow him to walk on and play football. In the past, sources have indicated this wouldn't happen. Today, it's a different tone. Nothing is certain at this point, but Dyer to Arkansas could happen. I think Arkansas is still checking out some things regarding Dyer.
I do think Fitz Hill's involvement in this has probably helped his chances of possibly landing at Arkansas though my source didn't specifically say that.
My question is there any chance Michael ends up at Arkansas? The source said, "There's always a chance for anything."
The same source said Dyer wasn't on campus yesterday as has been rumored. There's also a strong chance at least one SEC school in the East is involved with Dyer as well.
