I have to pay someone more than what some pay for a mortgage each month just to make my lazy arse work out. That's inadequate.
We train outdoors. it's 70 here today and i was hot as hell out there. i'm dreading May through September when we are blazing hot here.
on a side note I bought new training shoes. Asics Gel Lyte 33's. Freaking love them! OH, and they are cute as frick on. neon yellow and hot pink.

Not too bad. Pure cardio today. Now time to completely undo what I did with food and alcohol!

I don't mind the mountain climbers. It's the Level X drills that I hate with a passion. Doesn't matter if it's 1, 2, or 3. I hate every level.
ETA: And power jumps.

It seems like the "easiest" things are the hardest for me. Supermans kill me. Especially when he lifts my legs up higher. That and hands to feet. I have a 35" inseam so my legs aren't exactly short. I'd rather do mountain climbers than those

I should have worked out 3 times yesterday to prepare for last night.
One of our favorite restaurants is closing, so we hit it hard for a last hurrah. Ordered a drink called the "Bone Rattler." I think it had 4 shots of liquor in it, and since they were closing in two days, and we were friendly with the bartender, she was VERY generous with each of the 4 shots. The good news was that I only had to order that one drink!
No workout today. Cleaned house instead.

I'm doing legs/shoulders/accessory workouts today, then probably going to sit around with my fiancee and plan out what furniture we need for our apartment. We've been living in a 900 sq ft one bedroom with only a bed, dresser, nightstand, sofa, and a few chairs. Our sidetable in the living room is a box full of decorations.
I've heard that cardboard attracts critterbugs like cockroaches so it's about time to get rid of the 20 or so boxes we still have unpacked and shoved against the walls.

From these posts I'm probably preaching to the choir but I will confirm to some of you younger folks on here that if you can try to be reasonably consistent with your exercise it will really keep you younger longer.
I ran in high school and then ran/worked out inconsistently from 25 to 36 yrs of age.
Was fairly consistent with running 2 to 4 miles and some weights from 37 to 49, running in some 5Ks and 10Ks, upping my mileage for 10Ks. And not competitive, just participating, sub 8 minute pace at my best.
At 49 I felt like I did at 29, and I could be mistaken for someone in their late 30s.
Small nagging leg injuries gave me an excuse to quit running at 50 and over the next 2 years I gained 20 lbs and felt like my aging process was making up for lost time.
Now I'm working myself back slowly for a 10K and I hope I can stay with it because it is the only fountain of youth that I'm aware of.
Hope everyone stays with it. I can tell you from experience, it is worth every minute of the time you put into it.
