I've done Crossfit before but never there. i will say this for crossfit if you really want to get in shape then crossfit will do it. Especially if you do the warmup then the exercise of the day then do a little running or something extra you'll lose weight and build muscle quickly.

For today I've had a Dr. Pepper, Two convenience store burritos, and a litre and a half of water. 780 calories so far. Going out drinking tonight so I need the other 1500 calories on my allowance today to go to that.

I know the owners well, they are very cool folks. I haven't done crossfit yet, I would probably have a heart attack in my current condition but am getting in shape now and I will try it in March or April.

spent some time on the Crossfit forums, they recommend doing P90X to start getting in shape for crossfit.

I just talked with Walt (owner)and he said that they aren't as hard core like most crossfits and that they have many people that they have scaled way back to match their current fitness level.
I wish they were closer to Bella Vista or I would definitely workout there.

Crossfit does allow scaling back to different levels. Do you know if he follows the daily workout routines they post or does he do his own routines? I know the ones online were tough even at the scaled down versions for me, I was really out of shape when I started though.

Went on my first bike ride in a few months. It was short, ~20min, and my pace was still down a few mph from where I left off. It felt good to ride again anyhow. Back and bis still on today's slate.

Last day of the week tomorrow!

I may hit up about 45 minutes of just the elliptical on Saturday morning to get a head start on some of the bad things I will do this weekend.

If any of you in Fayetteville are considering getting your own home gym, I am trying to sell my olympic bench, bar, 2-45lb plates, 2-35lb plates.

Still looks brand new. $175

I'd like to but I don't have the room. I'll think about it.

Slept in this morning, so no workout.

Hopefully I'll feel up to doing after I get off work, because we're going out with some friends this evening. Gonna have to prepare for the food and alcohol that will be consumed!

Damn, I'd be done after one!

In fact, the last time I drank that much was the night before the Tulsa game. We had gone out with some friends for hubby's birthday. Went to our seats by myself while he either went to the restroom or the concession stand. Became infuriated that they had taken up our chairbacks, and complained to everyone around me that I was going to give the chairback company hell on Monday.

Then I realized I was on the wrong row!

I couldn't drink 4 glasses

I was sitting down and kept getting glasses poured...after about 4, I all of the sudden got really dizzy. I couldn't walk without assistance, I was babbling nonsense, and I was just completely zoned out.

I had honestly never been that drunk in my life.

My worst was a night a Willie D's...4 smirnoff appletinis (yes, I like girly drinks) and 4 shots of tequila! Never. AGAIN!

Hah, I couldn't tell you when was the drunkest I've ever been because there's zero chance I remember it. When I was in college, I'd wake up on my couch with absolutely no recollection of how I'd gotten there. Last thing I'd remember was being at a party. A few times I managed to cobble together clues; I'd have mud splashed up on my jeans from that night and mud on my shoes, so I'd gather that I ran home, blackout drunk, from the party. Of course, this is pretty typical for college students, at least the ones I ran with. I never took a shite in anyone's yard, unlike some of my friends. (at least not that I recall)

For some reason, I used to like running home after getting drunk on Dickson Street. Don't really know why. Probably because I was doing hash runs at the time (not actual hash; look it up).
