I will repeat that is not a fact. That is a lie you made up in your head because you hate him.

Also, I will repeat you are still struggling with reading and comprehending posts.

I have not given Hurts a pass I have said multiple times he has struggled and wasn't good yesterday.

I also didn't champion the opposition's QB when his QB rating was even worse than Hurts and he turned over the ball two times. You did that foolishness.

Hurts played well the last game. He does occasionally have a good game, which is why I have said over and over, since last year, that he is inconsistent. I've seen consistently good quarterbacks at Alabama. I've seen consistently good quarterbacks on other teams. Those qbs occasionally have bad games. Hurts occasionally has a good game.

he is inconsistent throwing the ball, but has been improving and is better this year. He didn't get much help last night. He is consistently great at running the ball - both are part of playing qb at Alabama under our current offense. I disagree that he only occasionally has a good game - but there is not point in arguing this.

#1- I don't hate the kid. I don't even know him. I just think we're wasting a lot of talent and I think the lack of an efficient passing game is likely to cost us another championship.

As soon as you cite to me 9 dropped passes, though, I will cite to you 9 missed passes. Till you can do that, your "facts" are just bullshite spin.

I'm not worried about the passing game at all. If receiver's don't drop balls, we are talking about a 200 + yard passing night from Hurts, and multiple TDs, and no one would be whining about him. Our WRs will fix it.

Proud of the team for getting a tough road win in a very loud, hostile environment.

That's a valid point. He is nearly always very good running the ball. I should have said he only occasionally has a very good passing game.

edit: YStar, you may note how Sally used valid points to support his argument. You should try that sometimes, rather than bullshite spin.

I think you hate him.

You were saying the same nonsense demanding for Blake Barnett last year. You were wrong last year just like you are now.

Btw, how is your boy Blake doing?

I won't cite shite because I never said that. You did.

You're not even intelligent with it. You literally looked at the box score, saw his incompletions than ran over here to post that.

You literally read and comprehend at a low level. You can't make up something then tell someone else to prove what you invented. Nobody said or defended using that.

You haven't used one valid point.

I brought up the sacks, tackles for loss and even QBR to defend my points. I brought up how Mond threw an INT and had a fumble.

All you have done is repeat nonsense you invented because you have a hate filled obsession for a 19 year old who appears to be an outstanding young man.

It's clear you can't reasonably or rationally debate an issue, so there is no point in trying. It's like trying to reason with a child, so ahead on and think what you want to.

For one nobody said Hurts was great; he struggled.

Hurts has struggled often since the middle of last season.

Let's get one thing straight, right off the bat:

No one here hates any of our players. So GTFO of here with that stupidity.

Hurts is not good at looking to a second receiver. He often abandons the pocket way too early. I have already referenced in different threads that Tua threw two TD passes against Vandy that Hurts never would have thrown.

I'm not calling for Tua to start. I'm not calling for an equal split of playing time. But we wouldn't have lost that game last night if Tua had gotten a couple of series. He's a guy who works hard in practice and brings a different skill set that Hurts doesn't have. And I'm not interested in the usual talking head blabbering about how you can't play two QBs at all, because we've all seen it be successful. And I damn well wish A.J. McCarron had gotten a few meaningful series under his belt during the season before he was suddenly called on to go out and win a ballgame in the last series of the 2010 Iron Bowl.

I have yet to see one intelligent argument against giving Tua a couple of series every game. Not. One.

I said Hurts missed more passes than were dropped. He said that wasn't so. It surely is so. If you want to pick up the ball and cite to me 9 dropped passes, then by all means, knock yourself out.

Lol, you haven't brought up one factual statistic. All you have done is repeat nonsense and bash Hurts while talking up Mond.

Then you made up some nonsense about 9 dropped passes, then told me to defend something YOU created.

You've literally lost your mind.

At all? So, as a percentage of worry, where are you? 0%? 10%?

Because I’m probably at a minimum 30% tbh.

Do you realize drop passes are part of the nine incomplete passes?

So if Foster had two drops, Cam Sims had two drops and Devonta had one drop.... That means 5 our of 9 incomplete passes were drops.

Those were the ones I remember.

There are some posters who worry about everything way no much.

There are others who worry about nothing because they think the crimson jersey is magic and that Nick Saban is infallible.

Reality is somewhere in between.

Would you agree that not every drop is the complete fault of the receiver? I’m wondering how much delivery and rhythm are at play in *some* of these drops.

The factor that doesn't show up in the incompletions is how many times Hurts didn't check down to a second receiver and/or abandoned the pocket early. Anyone would have to replay those plays multiple times, and you can't see everything on TV because you can't see the routes receivers are running.
