Our fans made a great impression on Hurts parents btw

Directly from a staffers mouth

“I am sure by now they know their son is slaughtered daily by the worst fan base in CFB”

I like Jalen. He is a smooth operator. But I still don't think we can continue to overlook the inability to make crucial throws. I hope it clicks for him, he's a super young man. But last night we had "50" YDS at half time throwing the ball. Not good. I wish him the best.

I like Hurts, but I'm afraid this is as good as he gets. I hope it's good enough for the ship, but I dunno.

QB Lives Matters.

Sounds like the staffer is a thin skinned lamer.

I think most all of us do. At the same time, we have fans that believe he's just fine in regards to being a feared passer. While some are more realistic in the belief that real progression as a Qb will never happen.

He made crucial throws last night that we're dropped.

He's as cool as anyone could be.

On a usual night, I'd agree with you. Much was made of his playing in front of his home folks. He was clearly trying to do too much.

How many times did he throw into double or triple coverage? A shite ton.

He's always been prone to make a bad throw. He hasn't generally made bad decisions. Last night he made a bunch of them.

Again, not slamming the kid at all but he was off last night for whatever reason.

Any QB ever has been prone to this. Horrible argument.

I just want to clarify I don’t think the staffer was mad about bad talk on the internet or anything like that. I think he was upset someone at the game went out of their way to be rude to his parents. I mean come on.

Hopefully it was just a stupid arse fan and Jalen's parents realize that's not our fan base. I've sat in the section we're the player's parents sit and everyone is usually respectful of the parents.

All we have is "insider info" and who knows what it meant or what happened. It's like dads who fight other dads at little league games. Those people are in every fanbase. Just like there are White Knights who would jerk the team off if that means they get to hang out with them. Different sides of the passion tree.

ESPN did show Jalen's family in a tizzy at one point. Who knows what that was about. Nothing worth speculating, that's for sure.

LOL somebody told Hurts parents his kid sucks? Yea, that'd be pretty stupid. That'd be stupid to say to Jeremy Johnson's parents let alone Jalen Hurts.
