I think Brandon Harris is a really good player in his own right and will show up to play with a chip on his shoulder.

I think Harris is good, but I don't think he is as good as most LSU posters make him sound, at least not yet.

It's one of the characteristics of LSU fans that I love the most. Y'all are always passionate about your team, but fail to see potential shortcomings until they blow up in your face. Thus why LSU meltdowns are tGOAT.

Obviously if the run game isn't on point then BH is going to be in for some tough sledding. And regardless of anything it will be his toughest challenge to date. At the same time it's hard not to get excited when we've seen the guy improve so much since the start of the season. That goes double considering he's one of only two competent and highly talented QBs we've had here in the last 7 or 8 years.

He's good. He has rarely had to thread the needle and make terribly difficult throws because their play action passing game has had some very open receivers, and he has very, very good receivers. Booger gets all the attention but these guys are great.

This will be his biggest test and hardest road game by far, but Les and Cam will obviously try to set him up for succes by using the run game over and over and over and the. They will go play action and hope to have a wide open receiver for him to throw to.

I haven't watched every second of all their games, but I've watched a ton. It seems like he's either throwing jump balls down the field, or to a WIDE open receiver streaking across the field or just sitting near the sideline 10 yards down the field, completely uncovered. I realize it's all by design with so much attention going to #7, but I have to believe that shite isn't going to be there all night against Alabama.

If it is, then tip your cap to LSU. But I hope it isn't, and I have serious doubts that Harris can scan the field and throw darts into small windows all night.

There's very few QB's if any besides the guy at Cal that can do this

True. But you know what I mean. I'm hoping Alabama does a better job than what I've seen other teams do. I'm sure he's made plenty impressive throws, but 90% of the throes I've seen were to receivers in their own area code. LSU will win if that continues.

Alabama will def be the best secondary he will have faced thus far. It will be a true test that's for sure

Well, draconian...my prediction of Coker with no picks and Harris with 1-2 came true leading to a Bama win for the 5th straight time. RTR!

I think he is a below average QB who has not played anyone in all reality. Florida is a good team, but Tennessee did score 27 on them or 26 whatever it was.

Vs. Miss St he was 9-14 71 yards....Def ranked 52
Vs Auburn 12-17 74 yards...........Def ranked 99
Vs. Syracuse 8-16 157 yards......Def ranked 69
Vs. Eastern Mich. 4-14 80 yards.....Def ranked 120
Vs. USCe 18-28 228 yards.......Def ranked 85
Vs. Florida 13-19 202 yards......Def ranked 18
Vs. Western Kent. 11-20 286 yards..Def ranked 105

Now the QB is going against horrible defenses with average numbers, but with L.F. and the rest of the backs racking up yards of 220 to 300 yards a game, he basically is seeing 8 and 9 men in the box at times, and is still average. If Bame shuts the running game down with 7 in the box to the tune of 100-120 for the game, Harris will not win the game facing third and 6's to 8's, he just will not.

Now by comparison, lets look at Bama's foes and our QB's numbers. More INT's no doubt, but most were early on.

Vs. Wisc. Coker 15-21 213 yards, and Cooper was 7-8 for 51 yards.................Their Defense is ranked Number 8

Vs. Middle Tenn. Coker was 15-26 214 yards, and Cooper was 11-17 for 98 yards....................Defense ranked 74

Vs. Ole Miss Cooper was 11-14 for 87 yards, and Coker was 21-45 for 201 yards.............Their Def. is ranked 31

Vs. LMU Coker was 17-31 for 158 yards.......Def ranked 105
Vs. Georgia Coker was 11-16 for 190 yards...Def ranked 15
Vs. Arkansas Coker was 24-33 for 262 yards..Def ranked 52
Vs. Texas A&M Coker was 19-25 for 135 yards.Def ranked 64
Vs. Tenn. Coker was 21-27 for 247 yards.... Def ranked 80

The Average ranked Defense LSU has played is 78.2.

The Average Ranked Defense Bama has played is 53.6

With our defense coming at him, and him having played basically no good defensive teams yet, save for Florida who might look better than they are considering they have played New Mexico St., Kentucky, East Carolina, Mizzou to go along with Tenn. and Ole Miss. (Great game there) But beat ECU by 7 and UK by 5 and Tenn. by 1

Just going by stats, if L.F. and LSU can not run the ball, I do not think they have a shot at all.

I THINK THIS WAS SOME SPOT ON SHISKE IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF.

He doesnt look all that accurate but his WRs helped him out and made some plays. They also got the help from some home cooking refs with very questionable pass interference calls. They seem to throw it deep a lot to help hide his accuracy problems. I guess this works well when your RB is gathering so much attention. Hopefully our Dline and LBs hold up and our secondary is able to hold up enough to make a few plays.

Really this game is going to depend on our Oline. If our Oline comes in improved then Bama should win fairly easy. If they dont then its prob going to be anyones game.

Yea turned out about the way i expected.
