Another example, Dylan Raiola. He is supposed to be the next great. Was going to push for playing time at uga as a freshman. Until he found out the difference between football in Chandler, Arizona and Buford, GA. He took the easy out and committed to fricking Nebraska because his uncle's godfather's cousin is on staff there? Yeah right. Sure that's the reason. How do you think his career is going to go?

This is how I view Sayin. These dudes think they know football playing in some beach town in Southern California or some desert town in AZ or NV. Then they come down here and get fricking processed right the hell out.

Losing Sayin isn't going to be a big loss on the field. Now, if Sark drops a bag on him, or Kiffin, or Lincoln Riley? I may change my mind. Kiffin didn't even offer him a scholarship. Wonder why?

It had nothing to do with Mack.

I think they are the same age. Mack was also a year older than his original HS class (same class as Sayin), wasn't he?

Yes. Mack reclassified to 2023 and redshirted. He's got 4 to play 4. Sayin and all other 2024 guys have 5 to play 4. I think Mack is actually a few months younger despite being a year ahead.

I thought they were pretty close in age. Sayin's already 19, and I think Mack is about to turn 19.

I've said this in another thread. Mack competed in a much tougher division then Sayin. Sayin never won a title as a starter in a weaker division, and Mack won one his only year as a starter.

so Carlsbad and Folsom are both in the state division 1, but California is so huge its divided into geographic sections and then leagues with those. Folsom is in the Sierra Foothill League of the San Joaquin Section of Division 1. Carlsbad is in the Avacado League of the San Diego Section of Division 1. The San Joaquin section is much harder than the san diego section that carlsbad is in, and the Sierra Foothill League is the hardest League in the san joaquin section.

Folsom is probably the best public school football program in in California over the last 15 years. Theyve won like 5 division 1 state championships in that time.

The year mack started they won the San Joaquin section division 1 tile but lost in the statewide division 1 playoffs in the semis i think it was.

Apparently it’s not about winning anymore.

How are the NIL checks paid to these players?
Has Downs's check already cleared?

If OhioSt is dumb enough to give Downs $2m before he even plays a down of football for them, what would stop him from transferring back to BAMA in the spring?

You're pretty fricking stupid if you believe Saban promised any recruit in the last year or two that he wouldn't retire during their 4 years.

You're an absolute moron if you think he went in people's homes and told these kids parents he was going to retire soon and wouldn't personally be there to develop their child.

Like I get you're not that bright but damn you can't be THAT stupid.

Yeah I totally understand. I own land in Placer County near Folsom in Loomis, which is where Mack's family lives I believe.

I'm guessing Sayin came to BAMA to sit behind Milroe a year, and then Simpson for 2, play 2 and go to the draft.

We'll see. OhioSt's starter just transferred. Their starting qb position is wide open. Let's see if Sayin is the starter in Aug.

I doubt he promised any kid that he'd be here for 4 more years. Now, he probably said something they assumed to mean that. Like, "I feel great. I have no plans at all to retire in the next four years, I have so much more I'd like to accomplish, and I want you to be an important part of it.".

Zero chance he plays a down this year unless some injury happens.

Will be a Nolan vs Sayin battle in 2025. Loser transfers

Sayin
all I can say is we need a QB who's a good decision maker, and leaving a bama offense that's going to be run by deboer and grubb to go play in one led by Bill o Buttchin is rock solid proof that Sayin isn't a good decision maker. I'm just glad he and downs didn't go somewhere they were gonna do us some damage
