I think he wants to go to Bama but I think he either wants to see who else is going to go or wants yo make a big splash or something. Don't know what the wait is.

Yup,seems like everyone we are recruiting wants to play the waiting game and here is Awbarn reeling in 2018 5-Stars.

If, and it's a big IF, just one will commit out of Petty, Sexton or Brown...the dominos will fall. Even if Reese and/or Herb commit, someone will follow.

Rivals seems to think we're out on Herb now. From what I hear, though, we're making him as much of a priority as ever. Maybe he just loves Mike White for some reason.

Mike White is a helluva recruiter and he's at a good place. I wouldn't be surprised if he stole him

We had Joseph Lanzi and his family on campus for a visit today. He's good friends with Alex Reese and he's been offered a preferred walk on spot.

I've noticed something Avery does. Don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but he offered Lanzi who's a friend of a major recruit, Reese. Then he offered Galin who played with Petty on Team Penny. I think Lanzi will definitely join as a walk in and Galin is probably a commit if we truly want him. That could help with Reese and Petty.

I had my son ask his friend and HS teammate KJ Hymes, who is a top 100 recruit in the '18 class about Kalin Smith. He played him twice this summer in EYBL and KJ says Kalin is a really good player. Thinks he is a legit top level player who can play anywhere.

Really don't know how he isn't ranked his film is good and you can tell that he is skilled.

Random question; Say a disaster happens and we're only able to sign a couple kids this year. Y'all think Avery puts Schaffer on scholarship at that point?

We play Faulkner in 38 days for the exhibition. Our first official game is in 46 days against Coastal Carolina. I think it's time for the official season thread

I'm waiting for the first game to be one month away. The official season thread will have to be stickied and the admins don't like to have too many threads stickied at the same time, at least that's what Hunter has told me in the past.
I figure if it is game month they will have to give it the sticky. My one concern is if they will un-sticky this thread. Guess we will have to see what they decide. My plan is to start the thread on Saturday or Sunday.
