I know Petty has announced he's committing on November 10th but I'm hearing rumors that something big could happen with him this weekend....

I always viewed Petty as one to chase money before career and opportunities. That's why I thought he was Kentucky bound from the start, but there has been encouraging developments for us recently....

Anybody got any info as to why Petty moved his commitment up? I figure either UK asked him to wait longer than the 10th to see how their class fills out, or they've told him he has a spot no matter what. If it's the first situation, he's ours. If it's the second, book him to UK....

My concern is now this: We have 1 scholarship left available right? I know Jr could drop to walk on but his pride might not allow that. So do we go all in on Sexton or do we press on Sexton, Petty and Brown and just let things take care of themselves?...

Yeah that ship has sailed. I'll be shocked if he doesn't go to UNC. We've stopped pursuing him though. Anyway...I guess Thursday is our trial day, lol....

CBS sports has an article up listing Kentucky's top targets. They go 11 deep and there is no mention of Petty. Few other wings but no Petty. ...

"Basketball atmosphere" seems like a key phrase there. He wouldn't just throw that around, sadly. That was said in a direct comparison to the football atmosphere with us. Makes me nervous, but first things first...land Herb and Reese....
