2018 5 star E.J. Montgomery committed to Auburn. Not sure if we were after him or if he even had interest in us.

Don't get me wrong, it's a big deal when you sign 5 stars like Auburn has done in the last 3 classes, but Wiley was a legacy and so is Montgomery. Montgomery's sister is a senior on the AU basketball team and he goes to Wheeler High School in Georgia where 3 of Auburn's current players went. So it's a little less impressive.

There's a new thread on BOL discussing Petty. A couple of people are saying they heard he didn't commit to UK and we are still very much in it. That's also what someone on here said.
If he did commit to UK, why would he keep quiet? That's what makes me think he didn't

At this point, it kinda seems like he didn't yet. In basketball, you don't really get many silent commits. If they do, they announce in the coming days.

Rivals did a piece projecting where all the 4 stars will go. We were 75% on Hammonds. 0% on Jones...yes...0. 100% on Reese.

Pearl was at Hazel Green High School today. Checking in on Kira Lewis (c/o 2019) PG. Lewis took an unofficial visit last weekend and was formally offered by Auburn.
Also met with Calipari and if/when he offers, it's over. UK is one of his dream offers.

Lol I already told you guys he didn't commit. Don't know much but I'm connected to the basketball people in Huntsville. Trying to get in contact with Courtney Beasley I think he coaches at Petty school now.
