Check out Valley Ho if you are ever in Scottsdale.
Awesome place to spend July 4th. Hot as balls but they have a big pool party, nice cabana suites, a rooftop bar with 360° views of the valley for fireworks, and heavy discounts.

i always stop @ rt 66 motel in shamrock , tx on the way to santa fe . $35 for a nice clean room, plus they have a big pic of a Corvette in the lobby. got to love it !
