Do the Pelicans plan to sign Boogie long term, trade him, or let teams offer the max in free agency?
AD thinks of Boogie as a big brother. Trading one might piss off the other and eventually lose both.
I read an article about trading AD for a nice player and some high draft picks. Several nice bigs in the 2018 draft. Any chance they unload both and draft high picks and go that route? 2 top 10 players, All- NBA all stars could get a lot in return.

The plan is most certainly to resign him long term. Things would have to go really sideways in a "fire everybody" kind of way for them to trade Cousins. With the Clippers, Jazz and Nuggets all having big injuries, the Pelicans may need to do nothing more than stay relatively healthy to make the playoffs.
Any AD trade talk is all coming from other teams.
