Planning a trip to the Masters in April. I'm from Louisiana and got a group of about 8 guys that want to hit the road and head to Augusta. If anyone has or knows someone who is selling Tuesday practice round tickets I would be interested. Also, if anyone from the area knows of any good places to stop and play a few rounds of golf along the way, or in Augusta along with the must see's and stuff to do while there. thanks in advance

Do you realize how difficult it is to get even those?

The RTJ courses in Mobile and Auburn are nice

Augusta is a shithole other than the course.

Just so you know, even those Tuesday practice round tix are gonna run you about $500 a piece at the cheapest. If you want to find 8, you’re gonna have some people paying more than that. The cheapest one on stubhub currently is $649+ tax. The housing/hotel is also insane pricing, especially for a place that sleeps 8. It’s gonna be about a $1500 trip per person on the cheap end.

Been to the masters 4 times and it’s not difficult to find practice round tickets but they will be pricey.

You will find tickets, expect to negotiate, but there are plenty of tickets being sold in those campers near gas stations, etc off Washington Rd.

Hotel rooms were around $300 per night at the local Marriott and Holiday Inn type places. There are some serious shithole places that will charge less but the security is shady and the rooms are gross.

We played golf near ATL and the aiport (Stone Mountain and Wolf Creek), they were cheaper, then drove in to Augusta.

We also played Jones Creek and Bartram, both are good and great with a group. Get your tee times, rates are gonna be higher but who cares, you are creating memories. Have fun!
