I tore my right rotator cuff, labrum, and biceps 3 years ago and had surgery. Recovery time was 18-22 months mainly due to rotator cuff and biceps. I got cleared after 10 months of busting my arse in rehab. In march i had to have the left rotator cuff repaired. It was torn pretty bad. My Dr. Had to do the surgery but he also did stem cell injections when the surgery was complete and i was cleared from him after 3 months and 2 weeks. My insurance did not pay for it but man it was so worth it just for the recovery time alone it was unreal. Would highly suggest if you can do it without surgery to give it a shot

Thanks. Was your surgeon the same for both? Is yes, was the PRP offered for your first surgery? You're recovery time on the first one was rough! That's one big reason I don't want to go through with surgery if possible. How much was your expense for the PRP and was it done at the time of your surgery or like a therapy?
