Portugal (7 days) suggestions

I was just in Lisbon and Porto and probably enjoyed Porto a bit more....although both were great. In Lisbon, go to the Alfama and wonder around the medeval streets. There will probably be people grilling sardines to sell and the sardines are amazing......although you may be a bit late for the peak sardine season of June. There are also old ladies selling shots of Ginjinja (sp) which is a sour cherry liquor you should try. We didn't really get our eating going until porto. But we met a couple of americans in culinary school there in Lisbon and they recommended Cervejaria Ramiro for seafood. We went there one night and it was mobbed with a line out the door so we passed.....I don't think they take reservations. And that is the thing is lisbon, every good restaurant fills up fast so get reservations if you can. Drinking wise, we went to craft beer places since we aren't big wine drinkers. Lisbon is a late night city, if you walk around during the day it seems there is nothing going on. Walk the same street at 11pm and there are restaurants and cafes that seem to pop out of nowhere. We also did a day trip to Sintra to walk around the castles which was nice. (if you do go to Sintra, you can Uber to the top of the hill where the castles are for about the same amount as the shuttle bus costs.)

ETA: Lisbon is super hilly like San Francisco and the sidewalks are often less than 3' wide and off camber.....wear good walking shoes. Also, The Time Out Food Hall is good for lunch. We ate there more than I like to eat at food halls since it was a 5 minute walk from our airbnb.
