This was from last spring, the ones on the left don't grow as well bc of shade

Have someone thin out the oak tree, trim a few limbs, fertilizer and water the grass and it will grow.
That's what I did when I bought my house and had nice grass and shade trees with in a few years.
Then Gustav happened... no more shade trees. Ahh screw it cut the damn tree
