re: Any rumblings on a Verizon S4 on lollipop root?

My LG G2 was fantastic up to the point where I mistakenly downloaded the Lollipop update without reading reviews first.

After the update, the problems started off with a battery that lasted an hour tops if I used it starting with a full charge.

The battery got worse and worse, and then my phone started turning off when it dropped below 50%. Then it started turning off after 30 seconds of use regardless of the battery charge and got to the point where, if I wanted to use the phone at all it had to be plugged in all of the time.

I bought a "new" battery and tried replacing it with the same results (although I screwed something up because I no longer get data signal - the same problems listed above still apply so it didn't really matter at this point).

I ordered a replacement G2 for cheap to get me through the next year or so before I can upgrade at a discount. Hopefully it works.
