Playa Mujeres, Excellence
Went there with 3 other couples...had a blast! Tip the middle bartender 40 bucks on the first day. Food was great - there are all sorts of different cuisines. No excursions necessary for us...just ate and drinks all day at the pool and lazy river.

As this board tends to be fickle, some really put down on all-inclusives. I've been to an excellence resort, Sandals, and going to Mexico in July (Valentin Imperial Maya).
They are enjoyable vacations if you like relaxing on the beach/pool and drinking a lot. If you want to explore, they're aren't the best and can be more expensive.
