re: Raleigh, NC Tigers need advice!!!

27607 here. Wake County is pretty well spread out. Lots of good places to live within the county. Although nothing like NOVA with traffic, it can be a bitch depending on time of day and location that you need to travel. I really like Raleigh and NC. It has a small town feel but also has a decent up and coming downtown. Midtown/North Hills is really nice. Overall a really nice, clean, and safe city. I love NC. 3 hours to the beach and 3 hours to the mountains, being in Raleigh puts you right in the middle of the state and the ability to choose your own fun. As an avid sportsman, I love the coast and its inshore/offshore fishing and a few very good hunts in the mountains and at the coast. Good place.
