I have to admit, as much as I enjoy when Bama beats LSU, seeing Mett lying there in pain on the field bothered me.
No way his O-line should have let him get rocked like that.
They should have held, hands to the face, whatever it took to protect him. First job is to protect the QB at all costs.

Can you imagine what Saban would put Bama's O-line through if that happened to McCarron....

Porter was getting his @ss kicked for what seemed like the entire game. He was in the backfield so often Mett could have handed him the ball.

Mett has every right to be pissed at the entire group for laying out on him. No effing pride on the part of the OL.

Could not agree more with you. Your starting QB is one of your biggest assets. Do you think a top recruit will want to play for a team after seeing that kind of performance from an offensive line?
