Living in Houston it's a long weekend for the games. Late games the wife and I can leave 7:00am Saturday and make the game. We then stay over and return Sunday.
Early games we come in late Friday night and stay over both night.
It's a big expense every game. Gas, food, fuel, rooms, parking, and the wife's beverages get expensive.

It been worth every minute, every dime, and the effort it takes. We wouldn't miss it for the world.

We don't give a crap about what chants are yelled, how many people are there, how bad the traffic is...etc. it's all part of the experience and we adjust and smile through it.
There are worse things to be doing, like working. I just remember the days when we had buy tickets at the game or off stubhub just to go.

Oh yea, GEAUX TIGERS!

Driveway to driveway, Houston to BR to Houston, with a boudin stop in Iowa, parking, tailgating, game, traffic, hurricane weather on way home...

19 hours. Would have gladly gone 3-4 more if necessary.

Yo graytiger....who r u fking kidding......I go to the games and try to keep my wits about me when it comes to the traffic and what not....but it is considerably more than a " little discomfort" and " little inconvenience!" might as well say the Titantic was a "little foul up!" I've been heading to DV since the 70's from Shreveport and the traffic/parking/etc seems to have gotten worse every year!

I'll still go and support the Tigers when I'm able but let's at least call what it is.
