nah, he doesn't milk his injuries. He just plays hard and isn't as young as he used to be so it picks up injuries a lot, recently at least. He ends up on the floor every other possession it seems, just ridiculous. Hell, in the playoffs he basically played without thumbs. It's no coincidence he's shooting >50% from 3 this season, while last season he shot mid 30s.
I think the difference this season is the Heat have some extra wing depth. So if he isn't 100% there's no reason for him to play.

He had to have surgeries on both his thumbs last year, not sure there was much milking there.
