TM7 does not deserve the Heisman. He is a good football player, but to call him the BEST is a bit overboard. He does alot of great things to help us, but he is not the best player in the country. He isnt even the best DB we have. I'm just glad LSU is getting the national attention it brings with it.

I agree he is not the best cover db on our team. but he is the best nickelback in the country. He has made game changing plays on both defense and special teams, changed the momentum in several big games, scored touchdowns, recorded sacks, leads in tackles, 120 return yards w/ a td on the big stage this week, and he's done it all for the #1, undefeated team that is being mentioned (outside of the rant) among the greatest college football teams of all time.

I say he deserves it

Can you at least concede that, for example, in 1997, Cecil Collins (when healthy) was the best RB on the LSU team, while Kevin Faulk (at the same position) was the best "football player" on the team?

What's so complicated with the assertion that Mo Claiborne is the best DB on the 2011 Tigers (and to credit B. Taylor, Reid, Simon, Mathieu and even Brooks - that's saying a whole lot), while Mathieu is the best "football player" on the best team in college football?

I believe and assert it to be true. Disagree if you wish, but can you say it's crazy? Not arguable?
