They're gay. Like Miami's pants. Or the Denver Bronco's pants. Or Baylor's or Cals' pants. Or Texas Tech or Auburn's pants with the tramp stamp on the butt.

Change is not necessarily bad. But change for absolutely no reason is just stupid. It's not like they're just giving a different take on a classic uni. They're jizzing their brand name/style all over it.

My idea for an alt uni:
for Alabama: white helmet w/ red stripe and numbers. That's it.

for LSU: substitue old gold for yellow gold. That's it - or maybe white helmets only (and frankly I'd prefer not to do it all). There's no need for purple armpits or a total redesign. There's no need to try to look like fools (like Oregon and the other schools that have historically shitty football programs). They should have pro combat uniforms that look like ours or Penn State or Alabama... It's embarrassing that LSU fans actually want to look like loser programs. These pro combat uniforms put the Nike brand/style above the tradition and history of our program. frick em.
