I didn't want this to be a Brady vs Johnson thread, but c'mon. Are you really defending Brady? He was really, really bad. Descent recruiter, but just awful coach. Would JB have won the SEC last year? I personally don't think so.

Then why the hell does every thread about LSU basketball or Trent Johnson have to include some gratuitous insult toward Brady. Why not appreciate what he accomplished and pull for Johnson to do even better.

Yes, he accomplished a lot given the situation he inherited and the subsequent NCAA sanctions.

Considering he had done so in two of the previous seven seasons there is a reasonably good chance he would have taken a helathy talented team to the SEC championship.
