The Milam play was more on Jones and so was the throw into the dugout. He stretches out too soon and commits to one direction to receive throws and then he’s stuck there. He’s a butcher at 1B but there’s really no other place to play him.
In general, the shift is an educated guess based on hitting charts.

I mean they are a shoe in for a national seed but we can't remember how the season ended 11 months ago.
