Pro- you can drive it through anything and it will go anywhere.

Con- ground speed is reduced significantly. You’re going from a 24” tall tire to about a 12” diameter sprocket and speed is reduced proportionally.

Con- they are terribly unreliable if not maintained. Remember- SxS tracks were originally developed for snow use. They use snowmobile style bogie wheels. The bearings do not like muddy silty water. You MUST keep them clean to get any life out of them. If not, the cost of replacing all the bearings is almost the price of a whole set of tracks.

<- Not making any of this up- I have installed and used about 10 sets of Camso SxS tracks over the last 5 years.

This.

You can definitely get to places you couldn’t before. But don’t get stuck or break down because no one is getting to you.

You have to go much much slower. And you can’t jump ditches or hit obstacles at speed or you will break shite.

Also, it consumes more fuel. Probably not a huge concern for most people, but just something to be aware of.
