Smith has the prototypical frame for his position and tested well for his size , not great. His height , arm length, and leanness for a 300 pounder are what scouts love , the same reason he was a 5 star with under whelming high school film . Those traits are what will give him his shot to go in the mid rounds . There aren’t many people born with that frame . He has the elite frame for his position , just not elite production .

measurables are just measurables. They don't mean you are, or could be, a very good football player.

Maason Smith had a lot of time to show what he could do, and didn't show much. Yes, I realize he was injured, but that wasn't the cause of his lack of production.

Maybe House misused him or didn't develop him - I guess we'll find out if Smith makes an NFL roster.

But I'm skeptical of that happening.
