Good for the economy but man, those batteries and all the chemicals/metals used are way worse for the environment than ICE vehicles. It’s a joke

Yeah, they shouldnt mine metals to make EV batteries because it's bad for the environment. They should just stick with something safe for the environment like drilling offshore wells.
Haha that argument always so weird to me. Those metals would still be mined even if we had no EVs. Is everyone gonna stop using cell phones/laptops/cordless tools/batteries if we stop making EVs?
