One of my favorites are cheese like products.

Velveeta is considered a “pasteurized process cheese product.” It is the same designation with Kraft Singles.

Many moons ago, I worked at a McDonald’s. They were looking to get rid of store sliced tomatoes. Instead the distribution center was going to ship presliced tomatoes. Unfortunately the first few runs didn’t work, the variety of tomatoes they were using started growing back together even when in the cooler. They eventually found the right process and variety but they cost to much and went back to regular tomatoes again.
