I wish someone would make the argument about the number of lives the generators save by keeping homes cool. A huge number of old and poor people die from heat (dehydration) after these storms.
It's time a Republican calls this proposal racist and classist. Poor people's blood is on their hands!
That seems to be a winning argument to this utter nonsense.

Yep. It's why I bought 3 generators. I'm helping care for my mid 90s Grandma and an uncle with terminal cancer. After that June heat wave, I went generator shopping.
