Complete opposite here.
I wake at 3am to get ready for work and our pups look at me like WTF are you doing. Then, once I get out of bed, they take my spot and go back to sleep.
They have free reign of the backyard (doggie door), so they go out when they want and never have to wake anyone to go out.

No wonder we have a mental health crisis in this country and people are tired and miserable.. 3am isnt a wake-up time , it is a bedtime .
